Soil pipe - brown pipe v grey/black pipe

Hi,
Is there any reason not to use the cheaper brown underground pipe in the space below floors instead of the black or grey pipe?

No problem under floors & behind box work. Just not to be used where sun light can get at it , as it has no UV protection.
