Soil pipe

by Chaswick » Wed Jan 07, 2009 7:14 pm

I was wondering if anyone could help?

I have a small victorian terrace which has a single story extension on the back. The soil pipe comes from the main house, through the roof of the extension and then down the back outside wall of the extension and into the main sewer underground.

I would like to add a window to the back wall of the extension and to this I would need to move the pipe or add a bend (or two) to skirt around any potential window.

Is this possible or is it a complete no-no?

Any help much appreciated - many thanks!

Hi,

It's a probable yes, but check with a local plumber.

If you type the key words of your question into our search box to the left of the site you may find the answer is already posted or is in the DIY projects section of the website. Every post goes through a monitoring process and using the search box may speed up your answer.
