Solid Fuel heating
I have hot water but radiaters do not heat up on my solid fuel boiler, it is a Parkray. I have bled the system including draining and refilling completely. It works for about one week then fails, I have to go through all the proceedures again. It appears to have an air lock but I cannot work out what is causing it. The pump is running OK. Any ideas?[/b]
Hi melinka
Are there any motorised valves which would control the flow of water between the hot water side and the radiators in your system? If so, it might be possible that one of them has a fault. Cheers Jim PS You can also find out more about the Weekend Plumbing course and our CH & Wiring Controls course by following the link at the bottom of each project on this site.
