Sound proof curtains partition

by aznxcp4lyfez » Tue Dec 30, 2008 1:11 am

I live in new york city and my landlord is kind of annoying about having any type of partition permenant or not. So i decided to have a curtain partition. I found this by Googling (link removed) and i was thinking about getting some form of soundproof curtain if possible. But i don't know where to buy one for cheap. If anyone has a idea let me know please because i am trying to get this done asap. Thanks in advance =]

The transmission of sound is mostly about the vibration it causes in the materials used and a curtain will not stop noise, only muffle it into a noise which is just as loud, only more annoying. Look at our sound proofing projects ands click into the web site banner at the top of this page where you will see how you can use resiliant bars and dense mats to create a pretty soundproof partition which does not have to be permanant.
