Soundproofing neighbouring wall

by sWozzie » Mon May 14, 2007 9:23 pm

I live in an end terrace house and have some new neighbours. The houses are divided by a single wall with studd partitioning on either side. Unfortunately for me, the noise from the neighbours 'late night activities' comes into my house even if I am on a different floor (the homes are 3 stroies).

Is there anything I can put inside the stud partioning that will block out this (quite often high frequency) noise?

Click on the soundproofing at home link above it will take you to a soundproofing project. The company in there (CAD) are excellent and you can ring them for help and products, we cannot recommend them highly enough and have used them for our own work.
