Postby paul-does-diy » Mon Jul 06, 2009 10:36 pm

hi, is there any rule of thumb on the height that the hand rail should be mounted at.
also should the hand rail be fixed paralell to the rake of the stair case.
thanks in advance of any replies

paul-does-diy,
handrail must be at least 0.9m above the line of the tread noses.
