stripping paint from plastic

I have recently moved in to a house which has plastic skirting to hide cables etc. the boards have been painted over several times with gloss paint, can anyone help please.

you can try Home Strip paint and varnish remover. It works fine on UPVC and some polycarbonates it can just take the shine off, but out of all the different types of paint strippers this would be the safest, as other strippers have solvent sin which will melt the plastic.
