    Student needing graded unit research

    Postby GNugent » Fri May 11, 2012 8:37 am

    Hi there, I'm a student currently studying in Scotland. I study product design at college and soon to be moving onto university. For my graded unit I am designing a new DeWalt "Task Light".
    If you are a joiner or someone who works in a similar trade could you please answer the following questions;

    1.What brand/make of tools do you currently use?
    2.What kind of environments do you work in?
    3.Do you own any task lights at the moment?
    4.What type of lighting do you use just now?(e.g. when working on a call out job or tricky area)
    5.Do you have any problems regarding lighting when working in any environments you face in your daily job activities?

    Many thanks for your time
    Grace

    Since I am a joiner, I will help you!

    1. DeWalt, Black and Decker, Rolson Tools
    2. Pubs, Shops, Clubs, Mainly public and commercial buildings
    3. 3009J - Xenon Task Light & a couple of torches
    4. Matika ML180 cordless torch
    5. Occasionally it is hard to work in small enviroments with the torch.

    Hope this helps :)
