system overheating and will not drain

by eddiec46 » Sun Jul 08, 2007 12:20 pm

Please help,
I have a potterton netaheat system and it has just started to overheat and puts hot water and steam into the expansion tank in the loft. I tried to drain the system to see if there was a blockage but the expansion tank will not drain down. Any ideas on locating the blockage without chopping the pipes to pieces.

regards ed
