Table legs

by Cardiffbloke » Thu May 10, 2007 2:55 pm

Hello, i wonder if anyone can help me. I have recently bought some old pitch pine church saeting and biscuit jointed the seats togeather to form a table top. I want to fit some newell posts to the bottom for legs. What is the best way to secure these newell posts to the underside of the table top (30mm thick) so that they are rigid and safe, without drilling through the top of the table to achieve this
thanks Howard
