Tap Problem for Bonding

Post by RowanMook » Mon Oct 01, 2007 9:29 pm

I have metal taps to the sink in the bathroom that have a metal covered flexible pipe with a plastic joint to copper water feed pipes, hot and cold. They have no earth bonding at the taps or the pipes, or anywhere in the bathroom. I have a light with a fan and a hot water radiator. The light switch is outside the bathroom. How much bonding do I need to do?

Have a look at the "Earth Bonding In Bathrooms" Project in the projects section of the site.

That'll give you a good initial grounding. Sorry - couldn't resist.

Cheers
