Tile first or fit fixtures?

Hi everyone,

I intend to fit a shower curtail rail around my bath and retile but which is the generally accepted sequence.

Is it to fit the fixtures and then tile or tile first and then fit the fixtures by drlling through the tiles?

Any help would be appreciated.

Normally tile then fixtures. Otherwise you may have some impossible tile cutting to do and it will look messy.
