tile layout

Post by del123 » Sat Oct 15, 2011 3:38 pm

Hi new to the forum and need some help setting out bathroom walls for tiling, I'm aware the tiles need to be a similar size at each corner but turning the corner do you use the rest of the tile (cut for a true vertical) around the corner or use a full tile? Is it best to set the vertical layout so that you have the most of a full tile above the bath?

Any advice on setting out for tiling would be most welcome thanks D

del123,
It's very unlikely that the corner will be truly vertical so you will probably end up cutting whole tiles for both sides. If you are only tiling behind the bath start with whole tiles on the outer edges.
end
