Tiles on plasterboard
I want to remove some tiles from plasterboard stud walls in my kitchen, but someone told me that you will ruin the plasterboard and end up having to replace the plasterboard, is this true and if so, is there a knack of getting them off without damage.
Use the widest scraper or bolster chisel you can buy Martin and tap it under the tiles while laying it almost flat. There will be damage, its unavoidable but sometimes, if you are careful, it can be minimal. If you do make holes see the project on the website called repairing holes in plasterboard.
