Tiling onto new plaster

Hi there, I have just removed the tiling from my bathroom but the plaster underneath has come away in great chunks. I'll have to replaster but I want to know how long I have to wait on the plaster drying before I can retile? I have read the forums about painting over new plaster and wallpapering but I cant find anything about tiling on new plaster. I assume that I have to wait a bit longer on the plaster drying before I can tile, is this true?

Leave it a week and then paint with a diluted (2 - 1water) coat of PVA adhesive. See our project on PVA
