I want to level my sloping back garden with top soil and want to know if I calculate the volume is there a way to convert it to weight so that I can order the top soil.

i always use 2.....so 3m cubed = 6 tonne..you wont be far out. most materials hover around a conversion factor of 2 eg. concrete = 2.4 tonnes to a metre cubed and type 1 roadstone = 2.2 to a mtere cubed
