triangulating roof in terrace any help please

by eproht09 » Wed Jul 14, 2010 9:27 pm

Im converting loft in victorian terrace and need to remove the metal tie bars running front to back in the roof space, what can I put in place to do the same job but not invade the internal space.
Building regs guy says it only needs to be supported at the front where the wall is higher than the ceiling.

Help !
