trouble turning gas fire off

Post by huggy2000 » Sat Nov 27, 2010 5:50 pm

i have a Robinson Willey firecharm balanced flue gas fire.
If we have it on the highest setting for over an hour it is very hard to turn the control knob to a different heat setting or to off position.
normally the control knob is very easy to turn.
Any suggestions of what is happening & what i can do about it?

It may just need greasing, with graphite grease

You need a registered gas installer.
