UFH in the kitchen-under floor units and appliances

by UFH » Fri Jun 08, 2007 11:26 pm

Hi,
Today we had a water UFH system laid waiting to be screeded on Monday but when we got to the house we noticed that they had laid the UFH throught the entire kitchen floor, including under all floor units and appliances. I've read tonight that its not meant to go under floor units (is this right?) but haven't found any information about appliances. I am particularly concerned about it being under the fridge. Any info would be appreciated as would like to see what can be done before the screed is laid.
Thanks :)

Go to our projects section and look at the underfloor heating water project. Contact Continental on their advice line, through their web site and ask them. Tell them Diydoctor sent you and I'm sure they will help you out.
