Underfloor Heating

by West Green » Thu Feb 04, 2010 11:11 am

Hi all - new on the website, but I've been lurking for a while,

Just had UFH installed in one the kitchen, single zone system. When it is on the radiators in all the other rooms in the house start to cool down after half an hour and eventually go cold. Anyone know why this is and is it fixable? The builder fitted the system but left the job before it was finished, so we're stuck with either a warm kitchen and a cold house or vice versa. Any advice appreciated

Thanks, West Green

West Green,
1. System has not been balanced and UFH is taking all the boiler output
2. The thermostat is located where the UFH has an effect.
end
