    UPVC Doors (Hinges)

    Postby Willfour » Sun Feb 13, 2011 11:45 am

Everytime I open my external UPVC, exit, then try to lock it, it seems to have dropped on it's hinges, therfore I have to grab both handles when the door is open in order to lift it up, then the key will turn & the lock will operate. Unfortunately, the door is only approximately 18 months old, but the company who installed it is no longer available. Please does anyone know what can be done to rectify this problem?

    Willfour,
If you can adjust the door hinges, if not move the lock plate.
