Using Lightweight Blocks for Inner and Outer Walls of Garage?

can i use lightweight blocks for both inner and outer walls on a garage bulid?

you don't need to build a cavity wall for a garage, but if you want to, it would be stronger to build the outer skin in solid or hollow concrete block and use the lightweight blocks for the internal skin
