my boiler is a myson marathon 400B,
Mid 80s, very basic, it heats the CH and water at the same time.
works perfectly well for heating, but it is taking 2hrs to heat a tank of water (it used to take 40mins or so). i'm pretty sure this has happened gradually.
the thermo is always set to max
boiler was last worked on about 2.5 yrs ago, BG fixed (and i presume serviced) the boiler after the ignition failed.
it seems to me this could be a blockage or a valve failure of some sort - in the water path, which means i might be able to fix myself.
any ideas would be appreciated
