Very Strange Water Pressure.....

by Scott_1976 » Fri May 04, 2007 10:06 am

Hi,

I need some advice. Some help...........

I'm living in a second floor flat (approx 6 months old) and the water pressure in the property is strange.......?

The water that comes from the kitchen sink more or less dribbles out.

The water from the bath taps and shower is better but not great.

The water from the bathroom sink taps is pretty good?

Cistern seems to fill pretty quickly.

Now the kitchen sink is situated right next to the properties supply and seems to me that the further you go from that supply the better the pressure gets??

I've spoken with the neighbours and they all have great water pressure and I've spoken with my Water company and they believe the problem is related to the plumbing?

Can anyone help? :?

Check that your main stopcock is fully open, then check that the isolating valves are fully open (screwdriver slot in line with pipe) Sometimes the taps are connected with braided hoses, check they are not too bent and are restricting the flow.
