Hay all some advise would be good here,
What I have is a 3x3 Edwardian conservatory it is full length double glazed ploy roof (no dwarf wall)

I have read lots of different things on the net and don't know what to do.

Do I need foundations? If so how deep would people recommend?
I have also been told I may not need this because it’s only 3x3 and full length with no dwarf wall,
the patio slabs have a good base the slabs are 2x3 3" thick VERY heavy could I build on to these with a small brick 2 curse then poor concrete into the centre as a base.
Then the conservatory on top?

You need to think about your proposed conservatory in terms of a ships sail and your location and exposure to the wind. We are having some very strong winds lately and a poorly constructed and fitted conservatory could disappear up the road with the next strong wind.
A properly constructed concrete base to which the conservatory may be fitted and kept in place is a must.
