We intend to frame a 1x1metre concrete hearth on which a solid fuel fire would stand. We have been advised it must be at least 5 inches in depth but are unsure of the best mix and would also like to add a black colouring dye, which we would like to mix in rather than put on top. the main aim is to have the concrete looking like a bit off black polished stone for a fraction off the price.
Can anyone help us through the process , thanks in advance. |
