Hi
I'm, building a new timber frame house some of which will be rendered and some will be oak featheredge boarding. All will be clad in a 7 course brick plinth with a plinth stretcher brick to finish. My question is how does the plinth brick detail finish for both render and board. The flat bit of the brick is 46mm which i believe should be covered. If you batten out over the brick then render etc don't you lose the cavitly required ?
thanks
