Water seeping into shed at ground level

I have a shed constructed about 10 years ago of breez blocks which stands on a concrete slab.
Water is seeping in at ground level at the back ( just in one place about 3 feet in width - the rest of the back is watertight) - the breeze blocks are cemented to the concrete slab and there don't appear to be any cracks in the cement where the water is getting through.
Is there anything I can do to make a better seal in the affected area,

Look at it from a different view.
Stop the water getting in by digging out a gully to both lower the surface beside the shed and move the water away.
A simple French drain will do the trick.
It is always a good idea to have the slab at least six inches above ground level.

I am newish to DIY- - What is a French drain - Is it like a soak away filled with chippings?

Google for it. In a way you are correct.

I googled it and made a sort of French drain and the problem is sorted.
The shed is right over the other side of the garden from the entrance drive and the 2 problems are not connected.
I have been away for a few of days and havejust looked at your posting on the Stop cock question and understand what you say and will get back to you.
