Hi everybody

can anybody help me please i am thinking of buying a log burning stove to be used outside at the mo i have a large chiminea which works well but i wan't something that gives out more heat and would like to know does a log burning stove give out more heat than a chiminea.

Assuming they take the same amount of wood there should be little difference in output. The log burner may be more controllable but it is an expensive option for outside and one which will rust.

if you can keep woodburner under cover when not in use should not rust, if you dont mind once a season geting the wire brush and stove paint out woodburner the way to go, more burn control. word of warning if you choose the wb route dont let the internal fire bricks get to wet or damp when stored for long periods, take out and store in the dry.
