Dear All

I'd be greatful if I could get some advice or your opinions on the below.

We are currently in the process of getting a shower fitted over our bath and got a plumber round to quote us on fitting the bath.shower mixer tap. The plumber recommended that we install a mixer tap with an intergrated thermostat.
The only problem is that these taps with a thermostat appear to be a good GBP200 more expensive so we are wondering if the thermostat is really a necessity.
Any advice or your opinion would be highly appreciated.

Many thanks

Brgds

PZ

P.S. If anyone can recommend a good bath shower mixer tap please let me know.

PZ,
Suggest you stick with a basic bath/shower mixer but make sure it is designed to work with the pressure you have eg if its a tank fed system and the cold tank is in the loft and your shower is in a room directly below the loft you will need a mixer which is designed for 0.1 bar.
