Bath tap flowing slowly or stopping when fully open

I have a strange thing happening with my bath mixer tap. When I turn on the hot tap it flows slowly and when I fully open it then it stops completely.
Turning the tap anti clockwise you can see it moving away from the tap body then if you continue to turn it anticlockwise it moves back towards the body and stops the flow. Any bpdy have any ideas how to fix this, the taps are only 3 months old.

Sounds like a faulty tap. Replace it under warranty.
