I have just replaced my flat roof and was wondering what to do with the edge that joins onto the sloping roof below. I took a photo of the roof before it was replaced and in the top left of the photo you can see the old roof felt just lay on top of the sloping roof. Should I just leave the new felt lying in the same way or is there a better way to finish it off? My concern is that it could flap about in a storm, although that didn't happen on the old roof.
