There is a very fusty smell from my hall radiator when the heating comes on. Can anyone enlighten me as to what is causing it and how I can deal with it PLEASE, The smell is driving me mad and can be quite embarrasing when we get visitors. :?

Providing there is no debris located behind the radiator the smell may be coming from dampness caused by a leak in the heating pipework local to the radiaror. It could mean lifting the floor in the area of the radiator to check for leaks.
