Walking on a flat roof

Post by Tralfamadore » Sun Jul 15, 2007 5:05 pm

I have a flat roof on a garage attached to the house. It has not been re-covered since it was buit in 1959, but has been repaired many times. I now feel that it is time to strip off the old covering completely and re-cover it.

I will need to be able to walk on it occasionally, mainly to drag a large canadian canoe, which I keep in the back garden, over to the front garden (there isn't room to carry it through the side passage).

Can anyone suggest the best covering for this purpose?

Thanks

A covering of 22mm plywood and then refer to our projects on flat roofs and repairing a flat roof. Either of the products are absolutely ideal for what you need.
