Wall/ceiling edges look terrible

Post by diy247 » Tue May 03, 2011 11:52 pm

Need your help guys

We had a plasterer lined up to skim (plasterboarded) kitchen walls and ceiling but was let down at the last minute ... so we attempted it ourselves???

To be fair the walls look quite good and the ceiling (with some filler/sand) will be ok too BUT the edges look absolutely awful !!! If coving was going up, it would be ok, but we are planning to put beams across, so need neat edges on two walls.

What would you recommend?

Regards
