is there a way of removing a mirror from a wardrobe door safely

Depends how its attaced. If its glued on the only way to remove it safely is to get a very wide wallpaper scraper and try to push this in between the back of the mirror and the wardrobe door. Its doesn't always work but its the best chance you have.
