Water inside door of zanussi washing machine

Postby elenawing » Sun Feb 16, 2014 12:58 pm

Hello! We had our Zanussi washing machine leak today, but as I was inspecting where the leak could have come from, the door was sloshing with water and everynow and again it would drip!

So my first question is would it be sensible for me to unscrew the door apart to let the water out or leave it to a professional?

And second, how on EARTH did this happen in the first place and how can I prevent it? The seals appear sound

Simply Build It

Hi there

It could be that the washing machine door seal locking ring has broken or become loose. You can buy spare parts from the Zannussi website. http://shop.zanussi.co.uk/product/1320552001/Washing+Machine+Door+Seal+Locking+Ring

Make sure you check the part you are ordering is right for your machine you will need the product number from your machine.
