Water Pressure for a Shower and how to measure it.

by landofdan » Fri Mar 19, 2010 1:34 pm

Hi,

I am moving into a new house and want to install this new shower which requires 2 bar pressure on both the hot and cold water.

Google "edensteamshowers.co.uk/Steam%20Rooms%20NEW/vittoria.html"

how do i find out what pressure i am getting in the bathroom and if it would be sufficient?

thanks,

Dan

landofdan,
If you water is supplied by a tank in the loft the pressure will not be enough. Otherwise buy/borrow/hire a pressure gauge and check the pressure at the taps in the room where you want to instal the shower.
end
