Weed fabric geotextile for gravel beds
I have Aztex NW 50 geotextile fabric available to me - a white sheeting (nonwoven) commonly used in paths and roadway construction I believe. Can this fabric be used as a weed control barrier under a gravel layer to make flower beds low maintenance. Or should this fabric used really be the typical black woven type. Perhaps the white fabric is stronger? The area to be covered is quite big so it would be helpful to use this type. Any advice would be appreciated.
