    Postby StuKemble » Thu Mar 24, 2011 8:38 pm

Im Moving Into My First House And I Have Fitted Wardrobes With Louvre Doors, Can I Sand Them Down To Oringal Wood Colour As they Are A dark Brown Colour ? Or Can Somebody Give Me a Idea On What To Do With These Doors?
    Cheers, Stu.

    Hi Stu,

The simple answer is to throw them away! Alternatively paint over them.

The delicate slats will be a nightmare to sand down. You will have problems getting into the corners and are likely to damage the slats in the process, which is likely to take many hours per door.

Louvre doors are not expensive. I suggest that you replace the doors if you want a new wood look. There may also be other styles of cupboard doors available if you decide to replace.
