What pipe?

I am getting my kitchen plastered tomorrow ready for my new gleaming kitchen, have emptied the kitchen ready and found a few old metal pipes sticking out of the wall, one had a cap on and 2 didn't.
I have tried to upload a picture of the pipe, has anyone got an idea wht pipe this is.....old water, gas etc.
