what's the best solution for thin walls

I live in a mid-terrace house with very thin walls. I have looked at various solutions. I need something with minimum loss of room space. Thinking of trying JCW Silent Board as this is only 27mm and bonds directly to the wall. Has anyone tried this? or have better ideas. Thanks.
