Trustmark and the NHIC
where can i buy kitchen chimney extraction
Can i buy a small light/extraction fan to fit in my chimney above my cooker? Please help :(
Hi
First of all I shall assume you have a fireplace in your kitchen. If you believe fitting a fan/light will solve your problems... consider this All the warm damp laden air will be sucked into the chimney void... being warm it should try to rise... this will continue until cooling causes condensation and basically you'll be creating a damp void in the chimney recess. Why not vent to an outside wall... extraction kits and powerful fans are designed to do just that.... carrying moist air up to 3 metres... and woof it's outside. Regards Watcha
