Where to Fit Trickle Vents in Double Glazing to Solve Mould Issues

Post by Dazroberts73 » Wed Apr 13, 2016 12:36 pm

Hi

I'm looking at buying trickle vents to fit to the double glazed windows upstairs to hopefully solve mould issues.
There is not enough room to fit the vents to the top of the window frames - would you recommend fitting the vents to the horizontal cross - piece of the frame which is approx 1/4 to 1/3 of the way down from the top?
Are there any guidelines on where to locate these vents?

Any guidance that you can provide is appreciated.

Thanks

Darren
