Will be attempting to lay a Laminate Floor

I've read and bookmarked your article on how to lay a Lanminte wood floor. What I would need an answer to, is what is the best way of starting the laying of boards, so they will be straight with the walls.

Lay by eye..... Lay a dummy row down the main part of the room to be laid check by eye to see whether it looks good to the eye..Then measure from that row to the wall that you are going to start from, mark on the subfloor around 8 inches from the wall at either end of the wall but parallel to the dummy row and draw a line from one mark to the next...this is you line that you need to follow, from this you can cut the first row to match this line, this way you floor will be straight to you eye if you keep it straight using spacers/wedges...
