Wire's

I have brought a new double light switch. I did write it down where the wires went before removing the original one but it has got lost. Any ideas that could help as I have been trying now for nearly 2 weeks

Might help if you told us what your switching and how many cables and what colours were at the switch. Or even better, send a photo
