At present in my kitchen I have low voltage downlighters in the back end of the kitchen wired into a two gang switch and the lights at the front of the kitchen are low voltage rope lights wired into the other side of the two gang switch. What I want to do is put in a single gang switch so as I can switch both sets of lights on at the same time --------- is this possible and what is the SAFEST way of doing it???????? Thanks in advance for any replies.

It may well be possible, even as simple as putting 2 wires in the same switch! BUT they would need to be on the same circuit from the consumer unit and wired in the same way.
Need more info as to what wires are in existing switches. regards Sparx (rtd)
