Wood burning stoves

by Archie » Sun Mar 08, 2009 2:19 pm

Can anyone advise me to what size Wood Burning Stove I would need to heat a room, sized 17'x14'x9' with a radiator and a north facing double glazed window. I have a flueless gas fire in at the moment which just sucks the hot air up the chimney.
Regards
Archie.

Archie,
As a rough guide aim for one which gives about 10kW when burning at 80% of its full output. The actual size needed will depend on the size of the radiator, insulation of the room, size of window etc, etc.
