wood to wood joist hanger advice

    Postby startpoint » Mon Jul 05, 2010 9:58 am

I’m in need of joist hanger advice, I’m building a large deck/ceiling on a Dutch barge the width I have to cover is 14ft (total length 52ft) the central wood joist I’m replacing in going to be 2x 3x9 and the supporting legs will be 2x6 the width beams need to be flush with the central beam and take floor and humans etc which joist hangers would you recommend they are be spaced every 400mm the longest unsupported central beam span is 14ft although I can use a central post to reduce this. Any advice on this would be fantastic. Thanks
