    Worktop 'Bloom'

    I had a new kitchen installed about 12 months ago but on the melamine worktop there are a couple of areas that have a matt bloom appearance. Is it heat or scratching that causes that, and is there any cure?

    May be a defective worktop, get the supplier back to have a look and advise.
